Bird Banding with the Smithsonian’s Neighborhood Nest Watch
Saturday, July 19, 8-10am Meet at the Community Garden
Join Audubon and the Smithsonian as they set out mist nets to capture birds for banding and blood samples. Bring the family- the kids will have the chance to help release the birds!

Family Program- Night Creatures in Patterson Park
Tuesday, August 12, 7-8pm @ the Pagoda
Join us as we look for and learn about nocturnal animals in Patterson Park. Spying bats and capturing fireflies will be part of the fun. All ages welcome! Registration required.
